What is the "Santa Fe '400' Collection"?

This collection is Douglas Magnus’ artistic expression to commemorate the rich 400 year old history of City of Santa Fe in Gold, Silver, and Turquoise.  Inspired by Colonial Spanish coinage, each design is created in Santa Fe, New Mexico using primitive and modern techniques to achieve the authentic look of the legendary ‘Reale’.
